Communications

The Communications Team devises internal and external communications to inform current volunteers, facilitate communications amongst teams , and expand civic engagement. Internal communications includes maintaining and organizing a list of local residents and members t receive updates. External communications includes designing/updating the Group’s web site, adding content, and designing PR programs to increase membership, participation in teams, and input by residents, businesses, and property owners. Current Goals:

• Increase membership list from 100 to 300+.
• Populate each planning team with at least five reliable, consensus oriented members.
• Organize and promote the Beautiful Newtonville 2012 Civic Engagement Awards.
