Two free public concerts offered by Suzuki By the Green Summer Institute will be held in the Newton Cultural Center auditorium, 225 Nevada Street, Newtonville MA as the Suzuki By the Green Summer Piano Institute comes to Newton, July 5-10. The first is a lunchtime concert on Monday, July 6th at 12:45 pm featuring pianist, Gerardo Ascheri in a program of French and Argentine composers. The second concert is “after work” on Wednesday, July 8th at 6:00 pm and features three pianists, 9-year old Anna Larsen, Juilliard graduate and Newton resident Sayuri Miyamoto and Argentine pianist, Gerardo Ascheri. The three pianists will perform a delightful selection of enjoyable classics by Mozart, Beethoven, Debussy, Piazzola and others. Come enjoy some lunchtime music or a summery evening of music and meet your neighbors. Concerts are free and the Steinway piano has been generously provided by M. Steinert and Sons. Suitable for all ages. Lunch time concert lasts 35 minutes and Afterwork concert lasts 45 minutes.

Suzuki Spring Concert

Suzuki School of Newton presents a free concert for familes of its instrumental groups and orchestra.  Concert is Tuesday, May 19th at 5 p.m. at the Day Middle School, 21 Minot Place, Newtonville 02460.  Parents and Guests are invited to use the Albermarle Road parking lot and walk across the field from the Gath Pool to the front entrance of Day Middle. Concert is in the 2nd fl. Auditorium followed by a reception.
