Spend fun-filled summer days at beautiful, wooded, 1,1000-acre Hale Reservation in Westwood as a camper with the Newton Community Service Center.  First through eighth graders enjoy Red Cross swim lessons, boating, fishing, archery, ropes course, sports, hiking, overnights, special events, and more!  Our exceptional camp community celebrates the outdoors, teamwork, and summer fun. All children are bused from our Newton location, making drop-off and pick-up easy.  Programs are offered in one and two week sessions, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.  Extended day hours are available. Fight Night Fundraiser

Join your local Boys & Girls Club on March 6th at 7:00 PM at Trinity Catholic Auditorium for the Second Annual Fight Night Fundraiser.  Offered in partnership with the Nonantum Boxing Club and sponsored by The Chestnut Hill Shopping Center, this event features 8-12 bouts sanctioned by USA Boxing.  General admission tickets are $15 and can be purchased on the night of until capacity is reached or online in advance at www.newtonbgc.com . Ringside VIP seats cost $50 and include dinner served at 6:00 PM, beverage service, and a commanding view of the action. Call 617 630-2066 to request dinner seats.

The Price Center's Annual Red Sox Event

On July 24th, the Price Center will host their annual Red Sox Event. Come cheer with us as the Red Sox take on the Baltimore Orioles! The evening will begin at 5:30 with dinner in The Best Buy Players club, followed by the game at 7:05 Ticket are $125 per person, and sponsorship opportunities are available. Ticket price includes dinner at The Best But Players Club and one ticket to the game. A raffle will take place before the game. Leventhal-Sidman JCC End of Summer School Vacation Program

For parents still looking for a late summer, week-long activity for their kids, the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center in Newton has the answer. The JCC will offer a "Wet and Wild" vacation program during the week of August 18-22, from 9am until 4pm each day. Single day or partial week sign-ups are allowed. Early drop off and extended day options are available. Children in grades K-6 will play sports, swim, play water games, exlore nature and take part in an Olympics competition.
