HATS OFF TO YOU, ABE LINCOLN!
Celebrate President's Day at Historic Newton with this fun, hands-on family program. We will read Abe Lincoln: The Boy Who Loved Books by Kay Winter, then we will make our own versions of Honest Abe's legendary black top hat that you can wear home and show off to your family and friends!

CAST IRON CHEF: COOKING WITH CORN
In the past, families would have dried and stored their corn at harvest time, then eaten it through the winter. Come learn how corn was ground and cooked, and what kids might have done with the leftovers. We will make an edible snack out of corn, as well as a small toy for each child to take home.
