Just Think: Teens Making Smart Choices

Want to encourage the teens in your life to make good decisions? The Newton high school PTSOs are excited to announce a week of events designed to bring together teens, parents, guardians, teachers, clergy, and the whole community to address and reduce risky teen behaviors.

Highlights of the week of April 4 will include the following:

•Student assemblies focused on positive decision making•Adult evening: Tuesday, April 5, at 7:00 p.m. — "Breaking Free from Depression" video and panel discussion at Newton South High School
•Adult evening: Thursday, April 7, at 7:00 p.m. —"A Promise to Adam" presentation and small-group discussions at Newton North High School
•Expo: Saturday, April 9, from 12:00 noon-4:00 p.m., at Newton North High School. In addition to providing valuable information about everything from crash prevention to eating disorders to parent support groups to yoga, the expo will include food, fun, special guests, student performances, and prizes.
