Newton Community Ed classes for High Schoolers
Registration is now underway for fall classes through Newton Community Education, and we have lots for offer high school students. For the college bound we offer SAT prep classes for the Verbal and Math SAT 1 tests. We also offer a College Essay Writing class and two new talks for college-bound kids with special needs and/or special interests: So you think you can Sing, Dance, Act, or Paint in College, for kids considering careers in the arts, and Post-secondary and College Options for Students with Learning Differences. Please join us for these great talks with our fabulous, knowledgable presenters. We're also offering Meditation for Teens, which is back due to popular demand after a successful first run at North last spring. We have Driver's Ed classes at both high schools on weekday afternoons this fall as well as over Christmas break. We have many family classes for the young and old, including an introduction to Ham Radio at the Clay Center Observatory. For more information or to register, call our office at 617-559-6999 or visit our website at www.newtoncommunityed.org. Be sure to check out our adult classes too!
