Time:
Jun 2 2011 - 4:00pm - 6:00pm

OPENING at the Jackson Homestead and Museum
Since its founding in 1917, the Woman’s Club of Newton Highlands has had three purposes: educational, humanitarian, and social. In 1920 the club joined with the General Federation of Woman’s Clubs – an international organization of community-based volunteers living the motto, "Unity in Diversity". Featuring photos and artifacts from the club’s past including beautifully decorated notebooks crafted by an early art committee as well as yearbooks and minutes, this display showcases the rich history experienced by the Woman’s Club of Newton Highlands. Please join us to celebrate the opening of this community exhibit. Free and open to the public.
