Suzuki School Open House

Mar 16 2011 - 7:30pm - 8:30pm Suzuki School of Newton is pleased to announce its Open House for parents interested in enrolling students for Suzuki music lessons on Wednesday, March 16th from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. This evening will feature an introduction to the Suzuki philosophy of learning, explanation of the school's core curriculum and meeting with Suzuki faculty. Specific information will be provided for the "Parent role in Suzuki music education." SSN offers instruction in violin, viola, cello, piano, flute, harp and guitar. Please RSVP at 617-964-4522. Dr. Suzuki's Birthday Concert

Oct 24 2010 - 3:00pm - 4:00pm Dr. Suzuki's Birthday Concert features a Concerto style performance for Suzuki Violin, Cello and Piano students accompanied by a string orchestra on Oct. 24th at 3 pm in the Newton Cultural Center auditorium, 225 Nevada Street, Newtonville MA 02460. This concert is about one hour and is free to the public. Works will include Clementi, Kuhlau and Beethoven sonatinas for piano; Vivaldi for cello, and Seitz violin concerti. This is a wonderful way to introduce young children to classical music. This is a family-friendly concert and there will be refreshment. There will also be a silent auction to benefit the Suzuki Association of Massachusetts, a non-profit organization devoted to supporting Suzuki education throughout the region. read more »
