There is still time to make a tax deductible donation to Plugged In. We are $10,000 away from meeting our fall appeal goal of $35,000! Thank you so much to everyone who has donated already.
What makes Plugged In special is our commitment to including all students, regardless of their ability to pay or the costs associated with accommodating our students with special needs.
Please consider making a donation to our unique program that fosters peace, compassion, understanding and helping others.
“Change the World”
(written and performed by Plugged In students in our 2017 Music That Matters Summer Camp Session 1)
There are some things about the world that make us sad, and we’re trying to find solutions somehow
(but if we keep being strong) (fighting for our beliefs) we’ll get through this
Prejudice, discrimination, how can you reverse ignorance
People being stubborn in their ideas and not listening, refusing to change
Wanting things to stay the same, they ignore the rights of others
Want to say to mean people, just be kind it’s really not that hard
There are many ways to find solutions, resorting to violence can never get us there
With Peace, compassion, understanding, listening to everyone’s ideas
When everybody comes together, uncover something bigger than ourselves
Creating understanding between people
Can’t fight everything alone”
Thanks for your support.
P.S. You can also donate by mail. Checks can be made out to Plugged In and mailed to the address below.
