Have you noticed your child feeling down or depressed? If you have a female child
between the ages of 14-17 who is feeling down, depressed, or experiences little pleasure,
she may qualify to participate in this research study. Your child can earn up to $100.
Researchers at McLean Hospital are investigating factors that put young individuals at
risk for depression. By participating, you and your child can help them better understand,
prevent, and treat adolescent depression. Teens will answer questions about their
thoughts and feelings. Teen will also undergo an fMRI brain scan. Parent permission is
required.
