25 artists are new to NOS this year. New solo locations are scattered across the map, and many new artists have joined the groups you’ve been visiting for years. In all, 160 artists are at 50 locations all across Newton. The art’s in carriage houses, barns, art schools, churches and storefronts. It’s a chance to see and buy art and beautifully crafted objects directly from local artists.

There’s Improv Dance at Adria Arch’s space, Saturday and Sunday. There’s a preview at the Newton Free Library this Wednesday, and two more previews on Friday, at Pop-Up Galleries on Washington, and at New Art Center. See listings on the website home page.
