As you have hopefully been enjoying the summer, the NewCAL project team has been busy! The consultants (OPM and Designer) were selected by a careful deliberation process with the Designer Selection Committee (DSC) and other City departments. The team has been working diligently to create information gathering methods, a project website and

Open Office Hours ‐ We want to hear from you! A series of open office hours will be held every Friday from 10:00‐11:30AM. The first meeting is on Friday, August 24, at the
Newton Senior Center. The next meeting will be after Labor Day weekend, on Friday, September 7, 2018 (location TBD). These drop‐in sessions will take place every Friday for
the remainder of the calendar year (with the exception of select dates in Nov. and Dec.) at various locations throughout the City. Dates and locations will be posted in advance.
