Join the cast of Disney, The Lion King, JR. at the Newton Summer Theater Camp for Grades 1 – 6

This summer stock theater production will develop skills in drama, music, scenery design and choreography. Children will have opportunities to be creative, gain confidence, and learn the value of teamwork in a safe and nurturing environment. 9 am – 12 noon Monday – Friday (early drop off option available), June 24 – July 19 (except July 4) – 4-week program will take place at Franklin Elementary School, 125 Derby Street, W. Newton. $900 for Newton Residents, $1000 Non-residents.

Suzanne Archibald is returning to lead this program designed for all levels of interest. Whether your child is a budding artist, scientist, athlete or gamer, their curiosity will be surely be piqued by the creative weekly projects. Students will take home finished projects. A gallery of photos documenting their endeavors will be on display at the theater production in July. Register for both the theater and the art programs, bring a bag lunch and make it a full day of summer camp fun!
