These week-long summer tech camps provide kids ages 7-15 the opportunity to have fun while expanding their STEM knowledge. For children who love video games, Empow’s new Roblox camps, where campers explore the basics of video game design and coding in the most popular gaming platform in the world, are sure to sell out quickly. Empow’s popular Minecraft camps will return for another season, with the addition of a new Minecraft Modding with Java camp. Campers will modify their own Minecraft characters, mobs, and more in this new camp, using Java code to customize their mods. Empow Studios is also excited to partner with Sphero next summer and offer two new Robotics camps where campers will explore robotics and programming using highly customizable robots with advanced robot sensors that campers can code and hack. For kids interested in a career in filmmaking, or those who want to expand their YouTube video skills, Empow’s Movie Production camps will offer campers the chance to explore a variety of movie-making techniques using popular Adobe products. Budding engineers will enjoy Empow’s new Outdoor STEM camps, where campers will design and build elaborate cardboard structures.
