Golf
For ages 4 – 14 years old: SNAG, beginner, and Junior lessons start on weekends in May at Newton Commonwealth Golf Course. Registration for the May session opens on April 1st at 7:00 pm. Click on View Registration Eligibility to see when other sessions open.

Our youth golf programs focus on kids having fun, enjoying the game of golf, and learning the basics of the golf swing. Instructors will utilize different games, practice drills and a variety of teaching methods that will help participants develop their game. Please keep in mind that golf takes a life time of learning and this is just the start. Participants will use the lesson tee for weekend lessons.
All programs run rain or shine. Kids should dress for the weather. If raining, classes may be done partially outside as well as inside where participants will play games, utilize SNAG golf as well as foam golf balls for indoor use.
Participants should bring their own equipment if they have it, if not they can borrow from the golf course.
