| Save the date & make plans with family & friends for a fantastic music filled, fun filled, free weekend of entertainment – and don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes! Celebrate local and regional talented musicians, singers, bands, and more at the Linda Plaut Newton Festival of the Arts. There will be over 20 performances in 4 village locations in Waban, Newton Centre, West Newton, and Newton Highlands over 3 days for 1 fantastic music and art-filled weekend.There is something for everyone to enjoy! All festival performances are free, accessible, and open for all to enjoy. New festival activities have recently been added to Saturday, July 23rd on the Newton Centre Village Green – a Summer Craft Fair, a poetry writing workshop with HaikuNewton and sidewalk chalk drawings and flower making at the New Art Center booth.
