The National Center for Arts Research, SMU DataArts, recently released their Arts Vibrancy Index Report. This report celebrates arts-vibrant communities across the United States. We are excited to see SMU DataArts confirm what we already know to be true, that Newton is one of The Top 40 Most Arts-Vibrant Communities of 2022. We are very proud to see our own Mayor Ruthanne Fuller on the cover of the report conducting the New Phil Harmonia Orchestra during our COVID July 4th celebration at the Newton Centre Bowl. What an honor for our city! Thank you to all artists, performers, sponsors, volunteers and others in our community who add to the rich cultural environment in Newton. We can’t wait to see what 2023 brings!
