We are excited to have Joanna teaching and coaching our new inclusion program offerings.  Joanna is a Board Certified Music Therapist, and is looking forward to helping us continue expanding our music programs for students of all ages and abilities.

All Newton Harmony Chorus
Mondays: 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Ages: 18-29 years old
Limit: 10 vocal students per class

Led by ANMS’ music therapist, Joanna Kennedy, Joanna has been leading choirs for individuals of all ages and abilities since 2019.

Get ready to sing! Joanna will lead the inaugural All Newton Harmony Chorus. ANMS’ Inclusion Choir is designed for singers ages 18-29 of all abilities, with no prior experience required. You will work together to learn new songs and your favorite classics. For all interested students Joanna will prepare All Newton Harmony Chorus for a showcase performance at the Music in May festival in Spring 2024.

Inclusive Joy of Music

Fridays: 10:30 am – 11:15 am
Ages: 3 and 5 years 

Class Limit: 6 students per class with one adult partner

This Joy of Music class is led by Board Certified Music Therapist, Joanna Kennedy. Group music classes are a wonderful way for your child to experience music first hand and provides a strong foundation for future music study. We have seen our young music students transform into music-loving-adults for over three decades. 


Drop In Jam Sessions

Thursdays: 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Ages: 12+
Start Date: TBD Nov/Dec (ongoing enrollment)
Tuition: $54* for 10 sessions

Drop in Jam Sessions! The goal of drop in jam sessions is for students of all abilities to form friendships in a fun environment.  We encourage students who have some experience with at least one instrument to join.  Students will also learn performance skills, improvisation, communication as a group, as well as practice techniques. Opportunities for students with similar musical experiences to form bands.


Inclusive Cabaret

Madison Wise is our Cabaret Class instructor.  Cabaret class has begun it’s third year.  Cabaret Class will allow students’ of all abilities to sing, dance and build self-confidence. The goal of this program is to form friendships, community in a fun, enriching, and welcoming community music school.*

Ages: 13 yrs old – 21 yrs old
Saturdays: 1:00 pm- 2:30 pm
First Class: October 28, 2023
Class Limit: Limited space
Tuition: $25 Registration Fee*

*The Cabaret class instruction is informal, “through the activities that are presented, we work to engage the listening ears of students and nurture their natural enchantment with music”.
