Each year, Historic Newton presents the Newton House Tour to showcase carefully selected, private residences of historic interest. See how homeowners have made creative renovations and interior design choices. Come away with appreciation for historic homes and inspiration for your projects. Our 41st Newton House Tour is scheduled for Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.

Unique this year, Historic Newton is partnering with the Longyear Museum to provide House Tour guests with a guided tour of their recently renovated and restored property at 400 Beacon Street, owned by Mary Baker Eddy from 1908-1910. This is a sneak peek at the property as the museum will not be open to the public until June 14!

Due to space constraints, guests will need to pre-register for this tour for an additional $10 (click here to purchase). Tickets may be purchased the day of onsite if they are still available. You must also show your Historic Newton House Tour wristband to be admitted.

Note that the grounds and the Carriage House—complete with a carriage owned by Mary Baker Eddy—are included in the standard tour for no additional cost.
