An Interfaith Conversation on Screen Time

July 22 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

InterfaithScreenTime

Hosted online at the Children’s Screen Time Action Network website, this broadcast starts a conversation on how digital media impacts families and children as they grow, as well as integrating technology into the practice of spirituality. Three spiritual leaders of different faiths discuss spiritual growth, faith, and how those relate to screen time. Host Jean Rogers will interview Tiffany Shlain, Andy Crouch and Amin Aaser, sharing Jewish, Christian and Muslim perspectives.  The speakers will be taking and answering questions live at the end of the presentation.

Children’s Screen Time Action Network

Sponsored by the Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood, an organization advocating against “corporate takeover of childhood” (CCFC website) through the advertisements everywhere in digital media, promoting limited screen time to minimize their effects.
