CAP Parenting to Prevent Child Assault Webinar

June 8 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

We know it can be hard for parents to start a conversation with their child about sexual assault. What can you say without frightening them? That’s why fewer than half of parents do. But, when parents play a role in empowering their child, children are less likely to become targets for abuse and are more likely to resist and to tell. This new 45-minute CAP program for adults will equip adults with the language and materials to teach and reinforce CAP lessons at home, including playing the What If? game in the car or during snack time, or making teachable moments of scenarios in popular books and movies. Parents, teachers and other caregivers of elementary school children are invited to participate. Click here to register (required).
