Charles River Clean Up with the CRWA

April 23 @ 8:00 am - 11:00 am

The Charles River Cleanup is an annual event by the wonderful Charles River Watershed Association.  It brings together over 3,000 volunteers each year to pick up litter, remove invasive species and assist with park maintenance along all 80 miles of the Charles River. Volunteers hold onto the connections they establish during this day of stewardship by returning to the Charles to exercise, play and enjoy nature throughout the year. This year, Newton Rotary is helping to sponsor the event, so we have the chance to join in and GET OUR HANDS DIRTY! Location details will be provided asap. We can bring up to 8 volunteers, so please be sure to register!  (Use the guest registration if you can’t remember you login credential, or if you’re a friend of Rotary).
