Explore local home-energy projects and talk with experts on the Sustainable Street Tour
Residents in 11 homes on Garland Road — in partnership with Newton’s 4 Our Future program — are hosting the Sustainable Street Tour.
Come learn about solar projects, heat pumps, insulation, and driving electric. Stop by to see completed projects and talk with owners and energy experts. Learn about increased incentives in 2023 for installing insulation, heat pumps, EVs, solar panels, etc. — and find qualified installers.
The tour takes place on Garland Road (between Homer and Beacon Streets, across from the Whole Foods at Four Corners; map). Stop by the welcome tent to get started.
