Freylekh: Improbable Beasts and Nat Seelen

The Improbable Beasts bass clarinet ensemble are joined by klezmer clarinetist Nat Seelen for an evening of joyous, soulful klezmer and klezmer-inspired music.

On the first half of the program, the Beasts perform alternately rollicking and soulful bass clarinet ensemble music by Jonathan Russell, Ian Riddell, Georg Telleman, and the Finnish band Alamaailman Vasarat. After intermission, klezmer clarinetist Nat Seelen joins the fun in brand new arrangements of traditional and original klezmer tunes for clarinet and bass clarinet enssemble.
