Influenza: 1918. Public Health Question and Answer Session

Commemorate Public Health Week with the Newton Medical Reserve Corps at a showing of the documentary film Influenza: 1918. Following the film will be a Q&A session with the Chief of Infectious Disease at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, Dr. Matthew Liebowitz.

Dr. Matthew Leibowitz has served as Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Newton-Wellesely Hospital since 2016. He attended medical school at Washington University in St. Louis and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the New England Deaconess Hospital. He trained as an Infectious Disease Specialist at UCLA where he was Associate Chief for Clinical Services in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Health Sciences Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
