When children receive the polio vaccine in developing countries, their pinkies are dyed purple so the Rotarians administering the vaccine know who has and has not received it. The phrase Purple Pinky Day has become a yearly call-to-action to raise money to FINALLY eradicate this terrible disease. We’re so, so close!
So come and dance, eat, socialize, have fun and at the same time help Rotary in it’s effort to declare the world Polio Free.
Bring your dancing shoes, a dessert or finger food to share, and whatever you would like to drink.
