Out in Newton: LGBTQ History Discussion

March 14 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm EDT

LGBTQ

Do you know that the first Gay-Straight Alliance at a public high school in America and one of the nation’s first gay weddings at City Hall happened in Newton? So Newton has been at the forefront of LGBTQ history. Moreover, hear from those who participated in groundbreaking events and join us for a discussion. This is part of our “Expanding Our Narratives” program. Thanks to the support of the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency, and a grant from the Newton Cultural Council, a local agency.

Join our discussion of the LGBTQ history!

Share your thoughts and show your support!
