Figurative artist Maureen Nathan on Mark Making/Drawing
Maureen Nathan is a British artist with a commitment to drawing as a daily practice. Many of her drawings are done with India ink using a chopstick or brush, which gives a fluidity and looseness to the images. Sometimes she uses paint, pastel, or chalk to add color and texture.
Want to participate in this interactive demo? Bring pencils, charcoal, ink, as well as colored pencils, pastels, or paints, plus drawing paper (~11×17”), and small objects, like shells or leaves, that fit in your hand.
