Nahanton Park BioBlitz

Join the Newton Conservators for a chance to learn how to identify native plants, birds and butterflies and see how many species of plants and animals inhabit Newton’s Parks and Conservation areas.

Newton BioBlitz events are hosted by Newton Conservators.  Each event will spend a few hours surveying plants and animals, learning and posting observations to iNaturalist.  No previous experience is necessary, volunteers will teach how to use the iNaturalist app to take pictures for documenting what lives in Nahanton Park.

Please download the iNaturalist app from the Apple App Store for iOS or from Google Play for Android before coming.  Please also bring water and dress for the weather.
