Twice the holiday shopping opportunities are popping up in Newton Centre this Sunday, as stores and restaurants host a diverse group of local artists, artisans, and entrepreneurs, for a festive afternoon of shopping, eating, and caroling.
Newton’s Holiday Shop & Stroll returns with more shops and pop-ups for all budgets and tastes. There are gifts galore for foodies, fashionistas, and lovers of handmade goods, not to mention all sorts of treats to be sipped, savored, and sampled while strolling and exploring Newton Centre’s small businesses.
In addition to shopping opportunities, restaurants like Thistle & Leek are serving up complimentary warm drinks, while new Italian grocer, Market-Tiamo, is sampling Italian foods. The Cork & Board has a wine tasting for those 21+, and at Woops Bakery the first 25 visitors are rewarded with a free French macaron. And, keep your ears open for strolling carolers from FUUSN. After all, what would a holiday stroll be without carolers?
