Reception for “An Uncommon Education”

View and celebrate Historic Newton’s exhibit, which tells you more about Nathaniel Allen and his pioneering West Newton English and Classical School. In the 19th century, the school admitted Black students, foreign students, and women to a forward-looking program of study. The exhibit is on display throughout September at City Hall. A documentary film about the school will be released in October.
