The Power of Language: a Panel Discussion

November 4 @ 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm UTC+0

$5

What’s in a name? Take a closer look at the words used to describe people who have been historically marginalized through race, gender identity, or physical challenges. Our panel of experts introduces you to how language is evolving to reflect changes in our understanding and tolerance of differences. How did negative labels influence people in the past, and how can we create a more inclusive society as we move into the 21st century?

Suggested donation, $5 per person.
