Walking Tour of Newton Cemetery – Great Inventions

August 30, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Our Great Inventions tour goes to Newton Cemetery to see the final resting place of people who invented items both useful and fanciful, including the microwave oven and the flat-bottom paper bag.

We highlight the work of Frederick Law Olmsted on our Sunday, September 18 tour of Newton Centre Playground, which Olmsted designed in the 1890s. The original design called for an archery ground and a croquet lawn.

Register for a tour here.

Our 2022 Walking Tours are generously supported by Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
