Yoga For the Seasons: Winter
February 5 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Each season has its own unique personality, bringing with it certain moods or characteristics. Winter is a time of rest and hibernation when nature retreats to build up its reserves for its next cycle. Winter is for us, as it is for all of nature, a time for containment, concentration, and the storing of our energy. We use this season for rest and the filling and maintenance of our reserves, gathering strength for the year ahead. In this special session led by Certified Yoga Instructor Jane Strickland, learn how winter and its associated element of water affects us, and strategies to bring ourselves into harmony with the season. You’ll also experience a gentle yoga class designed to lubricate and nourish our bones and joints increasing our flexibility and fluidity for movement. All levels welcome.
