Kids’ Summer Art Programs at The Paper Mouse Atelier

Come travel through time or take a trip around the world with us! This summer at The Paper Mouse Atelier, we’ll explore the arts of different cultures and civilizations. Moreover, we will dive into the art of magic and observe our animal friends. Our themed summer programs are immersive creative experiences where students discover drawing and painting techniques, learn new crafts, and create mixed media projects. Most importantly, they will enjoy learning these skills in a supportive environment where creativity is encouraged in everyone.

The Paper Mouse Atelier is a creative classroom, art studio and event space in West Newton. Atelier offers kids’ vacation programs throughout the school year and during the summer for children aged 7-12. Each weeklong camp revolves around a different theme, promoting learning and exploration of different creative traditions through imaginative art projects.

In each program kids will explore traditional media and techniques such as drawing, painting and printmaking, as well as art created from nontraditional materials and found objects, and craft projects such as bookmaking and paper marbling.

This summer’s programs include:

Art Around the World, the Art of Exploration, and Art through the Ages. Art and Magic, Marvelous Medieval Art and finally, Art and the Animal Kingdom

Sign up for full days (9:00 am – 4:00 pm) or mornings only (9:00 am – 1:00 pm) for each week-long session. Single days also become available two weeks before each program begins.
