Diary of a Painter features the work of Nicholas Read, an oil painter who divides his time between his home in Cambridge and his Rockport Massachusetts studio. He paints in many genres—landscape, still life, and portraiture. He studied art at UNC-Chapel Hill and the MFA Museum School and is a member of the Copley Society and the Rockport and Marblehead Art Associations.
