25 Years’ Performing Experience

Paul Speidel is a recognized name in the Boston area both as a professional musician and a respected guitar instructor. He has been teaching all facets of guitar privately since 1983, and currently instructs between 35 and 40 guitar & electric bass students a week. His students’ ages range from 7 to 70!

Teaching Philosophy

While it is not unusual to find performing musicians who teach private lessons, Paul combines his distinctive perspective as a professional musician with a commitment to the personal and musical growth of each of his students. His approach to each student is unique, tailoring guitar technique and music fundamentals to the student’s individual learning styles and musical tastes. Paul’s goal is to aid in the student’s creative process with relevant basic, intermediate or advanced skills so they can enjoy making their own music.
