Newton Inspires Transformed

Share post:

This year, we have transformed Newton Inspires—Newton Schools Foundation’s much-loved one-night event—into a year-long Virtual Speaker Series. Ten stimulating monthly programs—in honor of Newton Inspires’ 10th Anniversary—all featuring talks by some of Newton’s most accomplished residents, business people and Newton Public Schools alums.

What remains the same is the spirit and purpose of Newton Inspires:
– A celebration of lifelong learning
– A platform for you to hear from and engage with Newton’s brightest stars
– An opportunity to invest in Newton’s schools at a time of great uncertainty and change

First Session
NOVEMBER 10, 2020 @ 7:00PM
Jason Hehir

Newton North alum • Director of the Emmy-winning ESPN Michael Jordan documentary The Last Dance

Your sponsorship has an impact!

Newton Schools Foundation gives grants to support vibrant, leading-edge educational experiences for teachers and students that are not possible within the constraints of the school system’s budget.

NSF is committed to closing the achievement gap. We are working with teachers and parent groups to advance their work on racial equity, diversity, and inclusion in our schools. When you sponsor Newton Inspires you are funding vital grants in these areas, as well as grants for professional development and new and promising approaches to teaching and learning, Pre-K through high school.

When you sponsor Newton Inspires, you can be sure your investment will have an impact:

Reach for the Stars!

Every session in this year’s virtual Newton Inspires speaker series is open to all in our community at no cost (donations at registration are encouraged but optional).

It’s your sponsorship dollars that make a difference in funding grants that advance excellence and equity in the Newton Public Schools.
