We still need volunteers to help put together the playground equipment. We are planning on completing this in 3 days on April 26th, 27th and 28th (rain or shine) over Newton Serves weekend (this counts as part of Newton Serves!). The current play structures will start to come down Thursday, April 4th and we will fence the whole area in until the construction starts. The City of Newton Department of Public Works Department will be pouring a new walkway over the next couple of weeks so the play structures will be completely ADA compliant.

*Please note that this is a construction area (as per City of Newton). Therefore children will not be permitted while we build the playground.
Newton Taiwan Day is May 4th, Newton Highlands Village Day is June 9th and the Summer Concert Series kicks off June 7th so let’s get Hyde Playground ready!
