A Message from the Newton Cultural Alliance

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Linda Plaut, who served as the director of the Mayor’s Office For Cultural Affairs, on Sunday, February 17 after a long illness.

Linda was devoted the last 45 years of her life to promoting cultural and civic life in the City of Newton, developing hundreds of Newton’s cultural events, festivals, courses, children’s classes, musical programs, performances and parades.  We will be forever grateful for her service.

Rest in peace, Linda.
