What is a special enrollment period?  It’s a period of time when Massachusetts residents are able to enroll in health insurance.  In Massachusetts, if you don’t receive insurance through our employer you generally have to wait until the open enrollment period at the end of each year with a coverage start date of 1/1 or 2/1.  Because of the Covid-19 crisis, the division of insurance in MA is opening up this special enrollment period to make sure uninsured residents can apply for coverage.
Who’s eligible?  Any uninsured resident.
When will coverage start?  May 1, 2020.
When does the special enrollment period end?  April 25, 2020.
How do you receive quotes and apply for coverage?  Call or email us, we are here to help!
